Early Help Family Keyworkers – Grade 8, £30,930 to £32,637

We need family keyworkers who want to make a real and lasting difference for children and their families to join our newly formed locality early help teams. You will work with children and young people (0-18) and their families, requiring intensive support, working alongside them to support them to achieve positive and lasting change.

Based within one of our three locality teams, you will take a systemic approach to early help. Supporting children and their families in identifying families’ strengths and their needs and supporting them to improve outcomes, build resilience and improve their life chances. You will support children and their families to make positive changes to ensure their children and young people reach their potential.

We are looking for individuals who are able to develop excellent relationships with children, families and professionals and can inspire and motivate to enable change.

We have 1 PT (2.5 – 3 days) post within the Consultant Practitioner Hub. This is an exciting role that is key in driving forward improved practice.

We are looking for a highly qualified advanced practitioner who is passionate about helping to develop the practice of others. You know what good social work looks like and have the skills, experience and knowledge to provide practice support to staff across the service.

You will be a HCPC registered social worker with excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable delivering training and facilitating groups. Experience working with systemic concepts would be an asset.

Advanced Social Workers – Single Point of Contact incl. MASH

We have a number of exciting opportunities for Social Workers to join our new Single Point of Contact.  In March 2018, Croydon launched their Single Point of Contact, creating a single front door for residents and agencies to contact where children and young people are at risk of harm or whether they require support in agreeing an Early Help offer.  The service is made up of staff from the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH): Metropolitan Police, Croydon NHS Health Services, Community Safety, Education and Youth Engagement and Early Help.
